Are you married? How long?
Mr. & Mrs. Schmid just celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary.
How did they celebrate?

By doing it all over again and renewing their vows in front of their family and friends.
Such a beautiful ceremony and the party that followed had them celebrating in grand style.
Mrs. Schmid was a stunning bride, wearing the same gown she wore down the isle on her wedding day 45 years ago. I was completely impressed!

I am always honored when I am ask to photograph a once in a lifetime event....maternity photos, engagement, weddings, and anniversaries and I do not take the responsibility lightly. Marilyn and Bob have been through many special events in their lifetime together...50 years worth to be exact. I was ask to capture their 50th Wedding Anniversary Party and what a party it was! Congrats to them both on many happy years, beautiful children and grandchildren, and so many friends who obviously love them dearly. I hope they cherish these images throughout many anniversaries to come!

When I was ask to shoot Nick's prom portraits time was an issue...I'm so glad it all worked out because I know they will treasure these images for years to come. I also had a blast shooting them! Nick is such a sweetheart and too cute for words. His date, Allie...simply beautiful and a smile that lit up my lens. Thanks for asking me to be a brief part of your special night guys!

Santa himself made a very special appearance at the MB Snowball Stand at Carolina Forest and I was fortunate enough to have been invited to shoot the event. The kids all enjoyed yummy pancakes, sticky buns, donuts, and more delicious treats. Of course, the main event of the man in red was what has their sugar blood running fast. He arrived by fire engine...you have not seen Christmas until you see the look on these faces who were chanting, yelling and shrieking SANTA from behind the front door as they saw the fire engine approaching. Thank you SO much to Amy Hunt for asking me to be a part of this fun day. And if you haven't been to the Snowball and Pretzel Stand...you HAVE to go. Yummy!! When I was in school, I don't think we ever realized that our teachers or principals were real people. To think of them dancing or singing, never...it didn't happen!
Today, things are a little different...teachers are a little different then they used to be. Ocean Bay Elementary held the 2nd annual Faculty Follies this month,which is a show where the teachers and yes, even the principal all dance, sing, and some even act like kindergartners.
The show was a HUGE success! Money was raised for the classrooms, and the audience had as much fun watching as the staff did on stage. These are just a very few shots from the evenings events.
