FALL is my favorite time of year. Although I love living at the beach it is quite hot & sticky by this time of year so I'm ready for the crisp air & the changes it brings. Along with the season comes beautiful (& to a photographer almost yummy) autumn light that is unmatched. Toss in chilly evenings, jackets with the perfect boots, HaLlOwEeN & falling leaves (all which create FUN & creative sessions) & I'm in HEAVEN!
Changes are good if they lead you in a positive direction right! Well I'm making some changes to MCKR from a new logo, to way cool back to school portraits (which will be announced FRIDAY!) throughout September for kiddo's in Horry County. Following September there will be NEWS relating to holiday (yeah, I know it's August, but time moves quickly!) cards, designs, & gift specials.
So, check back FRIDAY for that cool back to school announcement & then stay tuned for more changes to come. Until then...here is a peek at my new logo, which I happen to kind of love!

I just happen to have the MOST creative clients possible. Don't believe me? Check out MJ. She is a client of mine in NC and she's gotten really crafty with a stand out image of the portrait I shot for her this summer. It looks AMAZING and I love the concept.

My daughter is not only an amazing girl, but she also acts as my assistant on many shoots. She is a tremendous help to me, and is slowly developing her own eye for photography as well. It's incredible to watch. While out on another shoot this Friday, I decided to take a small break and capture a few moments of my own baby's day. This was her just being a 9 year old playing on some old train tracks....my daughter just being herself. What could be better.
Don't let time pass you by...it moves so very quickly!
